The FOTV SPLASH DASH is akin to a colour run - just wet! Be prepared to go in clean and dry and come out covered in colour and dripping from head to toe. Important Info Below:
The whole family is welcome to run the Splash Dash. Why should the kids get to have all the fun?! Just make sure to book enough spots in your session to cover you all and add each name in the notes field before finalising your purchase. If you have not pre-booked yourself online, you can still book on the day (for a slightly higher price).
Choose your preferred 15-minute session from the drop-down menu. Run it slow and steady to ensure you get a good soaking of colour and craziness, or speed through and see how many laps you can complete in your allotted session time. Session times have a suggested Primary or Secondary focus to keep our smallest Dashers safe but please feel free to book a session together if your family spans both halves of the Village or if you want to run with friends in a different Stage. Please always be aware of smaller Dashers on the course.
We recommend wearing a white shirt to maximise the crazy and colourful effect. Throw your swimmers on underneath, accessorise to your heart's content, but remember that everything will get wet and possibly stained (including your shoes!), so keep that in mind when planning your outfit for the day. There will be pop up change rooms available onsite if you want to freshen up after your Dash.
Food and Beverages will be available onsite with an FOTV Sausage Sizzle and Cake Stall, Ice Cream Van and Coffee Van.
Bring along your gold coins and sense of fun to play an amazing array of Side Show Games including the very exciting Splash the Staff - where you will get to pay for the pleasure of throwing a drenched sponge at your favourite staff members.
Bring your dancing shoes along to enjoy the tunes at our pop-up DJ Stage on the Kiss and Drop Roundabout - featuring a star-studded line up of LLV DJs.
There will be no parking onsite (unless you have signed up to volunteer for a shift on one of the stalls or activities). Please park nearby and walk down to the bottom playground gates to enter the school.
If you are unable to walk down the hill to the bottom playground gates and require accessible parking, please email fundraising@llv.community to be added to the onsite parking list.
